Rachel Olson – President and Executive Director
Rachel Olson serves as the president and executive director of REACH 907. Rachel and her husband Trevor have worked with at-risk youth for 7 years. They have been therapeutic foster parents for over 30 youth in the valley both full-time and as frequent respite providers. Rachel has worked as a science teacher for high school students, then as a licensed realtor alongside her real estate broker husband. She still assists in managing a real estate development partnership that includes her husband and two other partners but has realized her real passion is compassionate work in the community. Rachel served on the Alaska state board of Social Work Examiners and was awarded the 2019 AK First Lady’s Volunteer of the Year Recipient Award for her efforts on behalf of youth in foster care. In 2017, she became a Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practitioner; a highly valued model of trauma-informed care widely implemented in the REACH 907 family.
Jody Peck – Vice President
Derek Alley – Board Chair
Derek Alley was born and raised in Alaska. He currently lives in Wasilla, Alaska, with his wife, Janelle and their four children. Derek has a bachelor’s in business management, and currently works as a Project Manager for Sound Decisions, LLC.
He loves serving and helping people. He has a passion to connect with people and encourage them to strive for excellence. He enjoys teaching people on a one-on-one basis. He believes that the attitude in which you do something is just as important as doing it right.
Katrina Wammock – Board Secretary and Program Lead for Teen Girls
Born and raised in Alaska, Katrina grew her passion for helping at-risk youth in high school as part of a Peer Outreach team that would go into local elementary, middle and high schools educating peers about the effects of tobacco, drugs and alcohol.
Katrina helped establish a free clothing store at Burchell high school in her 20’s that flourished to becoming The Steam Driven Boutique at MyHouse (local non-profit that serves homeless youth in the Valley. Katrina works as the Office Manager and Chiropractic Assistant at Arctic Chiropractic in Wasilla.
Katrina is married to Josh Wammock – who introduced her to REACH 907. Katrina’s love for teens is evident in the way she pours into teen girls. She understands the complexities and challenges these young people face, and she wants to show God’s love and show them they deserve love and acceptance. She has a passion to demonstrate her personal walk with God as the young ladies walk alongside her, she hopes they also come to their own personal relationship with God. Katrina is an amazing example to the young people in REACH 907 of acceptance and love showing deep care and concern for each individual she works with.
Deborah Palmer – Treasurer
Janelle Alley – Director
Janelle was born and raised in Alaska. She currently lives in Wasilla with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with her family. Janelle was a stay at home for 15 years before completing her Masters in Counseling. Janelle has been working for the past few years as a Counselor. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is currently employed at CoDi. She is passionate about connection and wholeness and seeing individuals and families heal from past trauma be better able to develop healthy ways of living and healthy relationships in their lives. She has been a member of the REACH 907 board since April of 2020.
